South Africa as a project to support.

Samaritan’s Feet SA is a non-profit organisation that strives to spread the message of HOPE through washing the feet of children in need (across all cultures), giving them a new pair of shoes and most importantly, connecting with their hearts and dreams affirming their lives matter.
We share the message of LOVE & HOPE whilst making a sustainable difference by taking hands with other support organisations in a community.

Samaritan’s Feet SA, forms part of an international humanitarian organisation.
Our core focus is to serve impoverished children who don’t have shoes. Our approach is one of not merely giving shoes, but of giving hope. Because what these children hunger for more than anything else is hope.

When donating shoes to kids, we focus on connection. Because positive connection, both physical and emotional, makes an enormous impact on their lives. We spend time with them, washing and caring for their feet. We connect with their hearts, encouraging their hopes and dreams, and reminding them that their lives matter.

Ours is a happy and hope-filled effort – aiming to protect and serve both the feet and hearts of the children. Ultimately, we’re about changing lives. Those of the kids, our volunteers and our partners.

Lottoland receives a “wishlist” from each organisation that we support. The need in all the projects we get involved in is so big and our contribution towards these projects are only a drop in the ocean. We’ve asked these organisations to share their wishlists with you.

Why did Lottoland choose Zoe Educare
South Africa as a project to support.

Beauty was born in the town of Sutherland. After living in Cape Town, she decided to return to Sutherland to help the children within the community. Living conditions for these children are very harsh, and food, education and clothes are in great need. Beauty established an Educare centre to provide these essentials to children, but most of their parents can’t afford the R50 a month contribution that is required to keep the centre running. Very often Beauty has no option but to use the last food from her own grocery cupboard in order to feed these kids. Not only does she look after the little ones, but after school she offers care and homework supervision for the older children. Beauty is the angel of Sutherland.
