Zoe Huis

Why did Lottoland choose Zoe House as a project to support.

In May 2017 we, as Five Plus Two Ministries (a Non-Profit Organisation)  started Zoe House in Hartbeespoort. Zoe means life, for us this means life in abundance, abundance of peace and  joy in all areas of their lives.

This is 100% a private initiative and currently we do not receive any support from the government. The initial vision and mission for Zoe House was to help pregnant girls/ladies that found themselves in a crisis or very difficult circumstances. Our goal was to help pregnant girls/ladies throughout their pregnancy as well as the actual birth and then for them to get on their own feet as quickly as possible after the birth. However Zoe House became this and more… as we also started to help women and children in abusive circumstances offering them a safe haven.

Some of the girls/ladies do decide to keep their babies but in some cases these ladies/girls do choose adoption as the best option for their babies.  We have various upliftment projects and really try to get each of these ladies/girls on their own feet as quickly as possible.

In the just over 4 years we have helped 80 people as a result of Zoe House.

We have numerous success stories and testimonies of lives that have been transformed.

Our dream is that Zoe House will always be a safe haven for woman and children in dire circumstances.

Our dream currently is to be able to purchase the property on which Zoe House in situated, as we are renting currently. The property is currently on the market and in the event of us not purchasing this property we would need to vacate the premises by end of October 2021. We have not been able to find another property as suitable as the current property in the whole of Hartbeespoort.

Zoe House Wishlist

Lottoland receives a “wishlist” from each organisation that we support. The need in all the projects we get involved in is so big and our contribution towards these projects are only a drop in the ocean. We’ve asked these organisations to share their wishlists with you.

Zoe House biggest wish is to buy their home. They have 3 months left to raise R1.5 Million to make Zoe House a forever home.

Their second wish is a H1 bus to help the with transport.

They also are hoping to add Harvey tiles to their roof to help with fire proofing.
