Season 3 - Episode 10

Jean Webber Home

Why did Lottoland choose Jean Webber Home as an organisation to support?

Jean Webber Home is a unique residential empowerment facility for persons with severe physical disabilities. This facility provides a home for 37 people who need physical support for most essential activities of daily living. We receive a subsidy of 25% of the running cost from the Department of Social Development.

The demographics of the residents do not only cover Mangaung but the entire Free State Province. We strongly depend on donations and the goodwill to meet our budget,

One of the exciting new ways to generate an income is the opening of our Goodwill Store where the public can donate items and everybody can buy a bargain. We firmly believe that the best way to survive is to invest in sustainable projects like this.

As the APD team we need your involvement as volunteers and friends to support us with management, fundraising, repairs, skills and gardening. We further will appreciate any assistance with meals and household items, advice or activities.

We are happy to mention that we continue to provide a much needed service to 37 residents with severe physical disabilities. Our team wishes to thank the media, the Department of Social Development and the public of the Free State Province for being our friends. You make us strong and help us believe in the future of persons with disabilities.

How can you get involved with Jean Webber Home?

Please feel free to contact us if you want to get involved and sponsor or donate to Jean Webber Home.

Please note that financial donations to Jean Webber Home are tax-deductible, and we can issue you with an 18(a) Tax certificate.
